A project by Cwm Arian Renewable Energy (CARE)

 

CARE was awarded Welsh Government, EU and Lottery funding to develop Garej y Sgwar - an old industrial plot in Hermon - to create a peaceful, publicly accessible space for creative projects.

Created from recycled and natural materials wherever possible, Y Stiwdio incorporates low-cost energy saving and generation technology into the design.

​

Y Stiwdio will be a creative space where wellies are welcome. A place to make, learn and grow. 

The programme has been designed in consultation with our community. There will be a chance to take part in arts and wellbeing activities, learn about sustainable energy, lifestyles and building processes and opportunities to grow food and flowers in our garden.

Our garden space will be designed by local volunteers as part of the 'Feeding our Community' project.
