3 WEEK BASKETRY COURSE WITH CASSANDRA LISHMAN
Tuesday 6, 13, 20 May 9:30am - 1pm
Whether you are new to the craft or are after a progressive course, a 3 week session is a great way to develop your weaving skills. Over 3 weeks you will be able to make one basket. For beginners this is usually an asymmetric or a storage basket, for improvers you can contact me to discuss what you would like to make. There is a charge for materials per item made, usually from £6-12 depending on the size of the basket.

OFF GRID SOLAR - A TWO PART COURSE
Saturday 10th and 17th May
1:30pm - 5pm
Join us for this two-part training and increase your understanding of and build confidence with off-grid solar power. Led by Dr. Chris Vernon, a chartered electrical engineer with 5 years experience living off-grid and commercial experience designing off-grid solar systems for telecommunications, this course aims to empower you to embark on your own off-grid solar projects.

PUPPERTRY PERFORMANCE
JOSÉ NAVARRO: A LA CARTE

José Navarro, an internationally renowned artist in the world of puppetry will be bringing his show 'A La Carte' to Y Stiwdio.
A puppet variety extravaganza celebrating traditions and international performance culture. It features singers, dancers, musicians, circus acts, and animal pets, using a wide range of puppet techniques. It is enchanting for both children and adults.

CREATIVE PAPER MAKING
Saturday 14th June 10am-3pm
Explore textural possibilities and have fun experimenting with making your very own pieces of recycled handmade paper. You will learn how to use a Deckle and Mould and to transform old paper into new, using the pouring method.

METALWORK: MAKE A TROWEL
Saturday 28th June 10am-1pm
Join Jo Adkins to learn how to make a garden trowel ready for Summer. You will learn some basic metal drilling, shaping and riveting skills.
You will be able to take your finished trowel home with you at the end of the session.
